We work with each client to set up the appropriate delivery arrangements based on job site location, date needed for installation, and other job specific restrictions. Shipping costs vary and are noted in the job estimate.

We ship all over the world. National orders are generally delivered via freight carrier. These trucks can be up to 65 feet long and as such require a level load and unload access area. If you are unloading with a forklift, please let us know ahead of time. When you place an order you will be connected with a W+ Representative who will work with you to schedule the right time for your delivery. We always call a week in advance of your shipping date so that you and your builder know when your job is leaving our facility. For clients that need delivery on a specific date and time, just ask and we can make it happen.

All Wellborn + Wright materials are dead-packed on a palette, and secured with steel bands to ensure damage-free delivery. Materials should spend 5-7 days in the environment acclimating to the climate before installing.

Yes. This is a customs request, considering it’s not part of our standard product line, but we have the capabilities if needed.

We can install flooring in the Mid-Atlantic area. If you live outside of that region, we suggest using a more local installation crew. Again, we’ll be able to let you know what we’ll be able to do for your specific job when you have your sit down meeting with us.

Actually, wood floors have been the first and only choice for kitchens for over 200 years. Normal everyday wear and tear one would expect in a kitchen will not harm your floors if they are finished correctly. Please speak with one of our sales associates about the best options when it comes to finishing kitchen floors.

Absolutely. Given the natural character found in reclaimed wood, our flooring makes a great choice for high traffic areas. We say bring on the tricycles and hounds! The more the merrier when you have beautiful, aged flooring that has already shown it can withstand the test of time.

Depending on the texture and application in your particular project, we’ll be sure to recommend a product and finish based on your unique project that will keep your reclaimed wood surface looking its best for years to come.
